Busy Monday

I was busy today, de-cluttering and catching up on laundry, giving the boys' bathroom a quick wipe-down. I then had to go to work. I work everyday, for 4-5 hrs. so it really cuts into my domestic bliss. And into my etsy time! And there may be a postal strike here in Canada tomorrow at midnight!
After work, I sorted socks - it had to be done.
It's the little pleasures that count though, like hanging my bedding out on the line in the warm sun. Love that. And boiling up a few farm fresh eggs.

Spring Happy

I gathered these from the bushes near my home. So pretty!

And, another reminder of this beautiful season, we had a little visitor....

 Mr. V. found her in the grass at the side of our house

She moved into the flower bed and seemed to be nesting there, burying herself into the soil. Could she have been laying eggs? The next morning she was gone and we didn't disturb the area. We'll see if anything happens there...

Well it's not the first time I've ever blogged, but it's the first for Vaga! Vaga!
Let me start by saying.... I. Love. Vintage! Yep, sure do! I enjoy decorating my home with found treasures. I like the thrill of the hunt and waiting for that perfect piece to show up when least expected.
 I also love visiting blogs for their beautiful photos and the simple and creative lifestyles they evoke. I hope to record here the simple things in life that bring me  little moments of joy and satisfaction throughout the days.
